Loading Your Data

There are several options available for getting the required data to ClarityRetail.  To help eliminate confusion and complexity, only a select number of options will be reviewed. 

Overall, the best method is automatically through software collection agents supplied by ClarityRetail to be installed on computers within the store or servers running in a central data center.  However, this method requires a little more interaction between the retailer and ClarityRetail technical staff.  As a first step, ClarityRetail has provided a facility through its main web site to manually upload the necessary files.  This will provide ClarityRetail staff an opportunity to review the files and find the appropriate method and/or agent suitable for collecting this data.  ClarityRetail will respond to the retailer soon after they have completed their review of the supplied files and will either have further questions on the data provided or provide details on a step by step process to install the software agent needed to automate the transfer of the data.  If for whatever reason the retailer is not prepared to or is not comfortable with installing the ClarityRetail software collection agents, then the web site can always be used to upload the data files.   This means retailers, big and small, will be able to derive the benefits of this service without having to deal with the complexity of installing additional software to transfer the necessary data.  Simply login to the web site after you have registered and follow the process for manually uploading the necessary files and ClarityRetail will take care of the rest. All the retailer needs to worry about is that they have provided all the required data as outlined in the Type of Data Needed for the service level option they have chosen.
