The ClarityRetail Story

ClarityRetail was born out of a vision to provide retailers of all sizes and formats the ability to accurately estimate customer demand so that they may improve their ordering and replenishment systems to ensure that each store has the right amount of product at the right time. While this seems a simple goal it can also be an elusive one and one which many retailers struggle with today. 

There are a number of products on the market from some of the biggest software names on the planet, companies like SAP, Oracle, SAS and others. These companies sell these solutions for hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars depending on the size of your organization. Often times these solutions are wrapped around complex ERP applications that can cost you at least as much to implement and integrate with your existing systems. In many cases, these companies are either unwilling or unable to sell you a consumer demand estimation engine without requiring you to license a number of other expensive software modules and other add-on services. 

In addition, the business model some of these companies operate under is to provide you with software which you need to run on your own hardware platform creating yet another additional cost burden on your overall project.  In some cases, a complete ERP application may be warranted as your legacy systems have grown outdated for the current business environment and can no longer meet the challenges placed before them.

ClarityRetail intends to change all of that and give you another alternative to consider.  ClarityRetail does not require you to purchase any software or hardware.  Instead, we are providing a service that will process your sales, price and promotion data through our estimation engine and returned to you a daily forecast both in human readable and machine readable formats. This gives you the power to analyze current sales trends and how a particular promotion is doing while at the same time giving you the ability to feed this data into your ordering system for store level replenishment.
