The People Behind ClarityRetail
ClarityRetail was built by Invatron Systems Corp., a leading provider of consumer demand and messaging solutions in the grocery segment. We like to think of ourselves as 'Retail-Hardened Technologists'. With some of us coming from retail executive backgrounds and others coming from the pure technologist realm, we represent the unique combination of the art and science of retail. Thus far, our work over twenty years since the foundation of our company has been almost exclusively in the grocery segment, a traditionally low margin, highly competitive environment.
Starting over 10 years ago, Invatron began developing a production planning tool for grocery operators to use in their fresh departments such as meat, seafood, deli and bakery. This tool, called PeriScope, is now in use in thousands of stores with leading grocery retailers. They use it to estimate their production requirements and optimize store level order execution to make sure the right amount of product is shipped to the store based on sales and price/promotion patterns. Customers such as Sobeys, Giant-Eagle, Winn-Dixie and others use our predictive engine for forecasting demand of fresh product in their perishable departments, arguably the toughest environment in the grocery store for which to estimate demand.
The forecasting engine behind PeriScope forms the heart of ClarityRetail, empowering retailers everywhere with the ability to quickly and inexpensively start generating sales forecasts by store across their enterprise, thereby gaining valuable insights into consumer demand trends occurring in each store.
Using this experience and knowledge, we built ClarityRetail for grocery and non-grocery retailers to use within their own supply chain and replenishment solutions.
