We have always defined ourselves by seeking to solve specific problems for retailers that had not been addressed by other technology providers. The first challenge we tackled was multiple vendor Weigh-Scale Management for the grocery segment. This continues to be one of the cornerstones of our business today. We are constantly investing to improve the quality of our entire Scale Management Suite, including ScaleLink, PLUM and ePLUM. This ensures that the data highway to all of your in-store weighing and labelling equipment continues to function smoothly. I am equally enthusiastic about our Operations Intelligence product, PeriScope. This Decision Support System (DSS) combines inventory control with demand-based sales forecasting to recommend store production and scheduling requirements. It helps retailers reduce shrink by 2 or 3%, while improving stock conditions at the same time. This gives PeriScope the potential for very rapid payback as has been borne out in each deployment we have done. If ePLUM is our data highway, then PeriScope is our eye-in-the-sky traffic reporter, providing alerts based on traffic flow and advising retailers of the most efficient route to reach performance goals in terms of production and ordering. To continue, I am personally championing our solution in the couponing and media space. PCM stands for Promotional Content Manager. Why not issue targeted promotions at point-of-scale, based on unique scale event detail, before the customer checks out? We started our Fresh Media Solutions business unit to do just that. The CPG community now has a low-cost, efficient and effective solution to reach the customer with targeted promotions while they are in the early phases of their shopping experience.
